AIDS.gov - World AIDS Day 2008

December 1, 2008 will mark the twentieth World AIDS Day. AIDS.gov is planning a number of activities to recognize this important day - we invite you to join us!

The need to respond to HIV/AIDS continues: worldwide the estimated number of people living with HIV is over 33 million; in the U.S., an estimated one million Americans are living with HIV.
