I heard about this resource on the Hak5 video podcast. It called Crossloop and it allows you to provide computer support through a secure remote desktop connection to another computer connected on the Internet. Now you can help you parents with a problem as long as they still have internet access. Also Crossloop has a free service to track you customer support calls if you do this as your livelihood.
